Warranty Policy
Our commitment to quality, care, and clear after-sales support.
At YOUMi Jewelry, we want every piece to be enjoyed with confidence.
This Warranty Policy explains how we handle confirmed manufacturing defects, what is considered normal wear, and how to contact us if you experience an issue with your jewelry.
1-Year Limited Warranty
YOUMi Jewelry offers a 1-year limited warranty from the date your order is delivered.
This warranty covers confirmed manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. If an item is found to have a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, we will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer a repair, replacement, or another suitable solution.
Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser and proof of purchase may be required.
What This Warranty Covers
Our limited warranty may cover manufacturing defects such as:
• Faulty or defective clasps, closures, or findings
• Stones that become loose or fall out due to a confirmed setting defect
• Structural defects in the jewelry that are determined to result from manufacturing
• Other workmanship or material defects present under normal use
All warranty claims are subject to assessment to determine whether the issue is covered under this policy.
What Is Not Covered
Our limited warranty does not cover damage or changes resulting from normal wear, accidents, improper use, or improper care, including:
• Scratches, dents, bending, breakage, or other damage caused by impact, pulling, dropping, or misuse
• Natural tarnishing or oxidation of sterling silver
• Fading or gradual wear of gold plating over time
• Damage or discoloration caused by exposure to water, sweat, perfumes, cosmetics, cleaning products, or other chemicals
• Damage to stones caused by impact, scratching, improper handling, or accidental loss
• Lost or stolen jewelry
• Damage resulting from repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by a third party
• Changes in appearance that occur naturally through regular wear and aging
Normal wear and changes in appearance over time are not considered manufacturing defects.
Gold-Plated Jewelry
Gold-plated jewelry requires special care to help preserve its finish.
The gold-plated surface may gradually fade or wear over time depending on frequency of wear, skin contact, exposure to moisture, and individual care habits. This is a natural characteristic of plated jewelry and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
To help extend the life of the finish, we recommend removing gold-plated jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping, and avoiding direct contact with perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, and household chemicals.
When not in use, store your jewelry in a dry place and keep individual pieces separated where possible to help reduce scratching and friction.
How to Make a Warranty Request
If you believe your jewelry has a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, please contact our customer service team and provide:
• Your order number or proof of purchase
• A brief description of the issue
• Clear photos showing the affected area and the overall condition of the jewelry
Once we receive your request, our team will review the information provided and may request additional details or photos if necessary.
If the issue is confirmed to be covered under our warranty, we will provide an appropriate solution, which may include repair, replacement, or another suitable resolution depending on the circumstances and product availability.
Please contact us before returning any item for warranty assessment. Items sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
