Jewelry Care
Preserving your everyday pieces for a lifetime
The Golden Rules of Care
Last on, first off. To preserve the brilliance of your jewelry, apply perfumes, lotions, and hair products before putting on your pieces. We recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, sleeping, exercising, or cleaning to avoid moisture, pressure, and harsh chemicals.
Caring for Your Metals
Care by Material
925 Sterling Silver
Silver naturally oxidizes over time, but its shine can be restored with gentle care. Use a soft silver polishing cloth to wipe the surface, and store each piece in a dry pouch or jewelry box when not in use.
Gold-plated jewelry may be made with sterling silver or brass. Please check each product page for the exact base material. Avoid polishing cloths, chemical cleaners, and prolonged moisture. Gently wipe your piece with a soft, dry microfiber cloth after wearing and store it separately to help protect the gold layer.
Stones & Gemstones
Natural stones, laboratory-grown gemstones, and crystals can each respond differently to heat, pressure, moisture, and chemicals. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless recommended for the specific material. For gentle cleaning, use lukewarm water, a drop of mild soap, and a very soft brush only when appropriate for the piece. When in doubt, follow the care guidance on the product page or contact us.
Storage & Daily Care
Store your jewelry separately to prevent scratches and tangling. Keep pieces away from direct sunlight, humidity, and bathroom storage. For necklaces and bracelets, close the clasp before storing to help prevent knots and chain damage.
